Whisky Sauce

I love this one with salmon, works with chicken and steak too - plus it's nice to experiment with different whiskeys.
Ingredients
1 tbsp. chopped scallions
1 tbsp. grated ginger
1 tbsp. grated garlic
1/2 cup whiskey
1/2 cup soy
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp. honey
Sesame seeds (optional - use this when serving with salmon)
Directions
Drop everything into a pot and let it simmer for about 15 minutes until it reduces.
Retrospectives
5/2021 Tried this using Jameson's with salmon - whisky was a little overpowered by the ginger, next time I might try this with a different whiskey, maybe Jack?
